Ulrike Fischer began her career at Marburger Volksbank eG in 1982. In 1989 she switched to the former BfG Bank AG, now called SEB AG, where she held a number of positions starting as an investment consultant in Frankfurt. In 1991 she switched to the newly opened Bad Homburg branch, where she advised high net worth customers in all types of securities, in particular stocks, mutual funds, and options until 1995. Ulrike Fischer then helped to build up the funds business for private investors at the subsidiary BfG Invest, later called SEB Invest/SEB Asset Management AG, and became head of the division in 2008. From 2010 her area of responsibility continually grew through the acquisition of third-party distributors, including credit unions, savings and loans, independent financial administrators, private banks, and family offices. Ulrike Fischer became director of sales at Walser Privatbank Invest S.A. in October 2013, where she is together with Marcel Andretzki responsible for third-party sales.
